however priority is given to orders selecting our premier delivery service
(Parcelforce 24)
Despatch Times Non Stock Items
Some of our larger or heavier products are delivered
direct from the manufacturers the despatch times are shown below
- Salter Brecknell: Orders received before 11am are usually despatched
same day.
- OHaus: all orders for larger OHaus products are despatch within
2 working days (all OHaus Compact Scales are held on stock for immediate
despatch)
Next Day Delivery UK only
e-scales.co.uk uses Royal Mail and Parcelforce to deliver
your purchases, delivery charges are based on a simple system as detailed
below.
Pocket Scales and Accessories
Pocket scales and accessories weighing less than 500grams
are sent via Royal Mail signed for (recorded delivery), with the option
of next day delivery via Parcelforce for a small extra charge.
Tabletop and Platform Scales
Tabletop, Bathroom and Platform scales are despatched
via Parcelforce 48 (2 day service), with a next day (Parcelforce 24)
option available for a small extra charge. Once items have been despatched
purchasers will receive an email containing a tracking number which
can be monitored on the Parcelforce website.
Posting to Europe
All orders to Europe up to 1.7 Kg (2Kg including packing)
are despatched by Royal Mail Airsure
(see note below). Items over 1.7Kg are despatched by UPS, Parceline
or DHL.
Calculating Postal charges
e-scales.co.uk has a calculator to help you calculate
the postal charges, however we can only do this when we have an address
to calculate it from. Please Register
with us and you will then be able to price your cart before proceeding
to the checkout
Parcelforce delivery speeds
It is not possible for Parcelforce to reach all UK
destinations within the delivery standards for the main areas. please
click on the link below to view a table highlighting the delivery speeds
for the main areas and also for the postcodes where delivery takes a
little longer Parcelforce
delivery times .
Tracking your purchase
Where an order has been despatched by Parcelforce,
an an email containing a consignment tracking number is sent out. This
can be used to track the progress of your purchase at the parcelforce
website.
In the event of non receipt of an order the parcelforce
website can be used to check the status and if necessary contact Parcelforce.
Note:
Airsure is not available to every country in Europe, purchases to countries
where Airsure is not available will be despatched by Royal Mail International
